Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor

I am a Clinical and Mental Health Counseling Intern with a strong foundation in youth, family, and relationship support. Before entering the clinical counseling field, I spent six years as a high school guidance counselor, working closely with students, parents, educators, and district leadership to create supportive, growth-centered environments. I also bring experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, as well as the unique perspective that comes from being a disabled veteran.

Originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica, I specialize in multi-dimensional counseling, recognizing that people are shaped by their relationships, cultures, strengths, and lived experiences. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen the relationships that matter most, whether that connection is with a partner, a child, or oneself.

My counseling approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, which honors clients as the experts of their own lives. I choose this approach because it allows people to feel seen, safe, and genuinely heard. By offering empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, I help clients explore their challenges at a pace that feels right for them and discover solutions that align with their true selves.

I am committed to meeting people exactly where they are—without judgment, without pressure, and with full respect for their unique journey. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel empowered, supported, and ready to cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

If you are seeking a counselor who approaches your story with compassion, cultural awareness, humility, and a true passion for your growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
