Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor

My role as a counseling intern is to create a collaborative, meaningful, and transformative experience where each session becomes a unique journey of exploration and growth. Together, we navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and work toward lasting change with intention and compassion. My approach is rooted in deep listening, genuine curiosity, and a heartfelt commitment to understanding your individual story.
I strive to cultivate a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and safe enough to express yourself without judgment. In our work together, you can expect a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility—enough guidance to feel grounded, and enough openness to let your truth unfold naturally. We begin each session by checking in on how you’re feeling in the moment, and then we move at your pace to clarify goals, explore concerns, and reflect on what you need most that day.
Drawing from evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and solution-focused techniques, I tailor each session to your comfort level and therapeutic goals. I honor your autonomy, encourage self-discovery, and offer insights or gentle challenges that help deepen your understanding and expand your resilience.
I view counseling as a sanctuary for healing, personal development, and inner transformation. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you—as a guide, a witness, and a steady source of support—as you develop new skills, shift perspectives, and build the capacity to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
Ultimately, I hope that our work together empowers you to move forward with a stronger sense of self, renewed hope, and the tools to create a more grounded and fulfilling life.
